Cutting Corners

Design improvements to Hideaway bins by Kitchen King

The corners have been rounded on the well known Hideaway Compact and Hideaway Deluxe bins by Kitchen King. Feedback and market research indicated that design changes to the Hideaway ranges were imminent, to ensure the bins kept up with the kitchen industries' ever changing requirements. Based on this knowledge, Kitchen King invested in product development to alter designs to meet the market changes.

Design alterations include:

  • Previous square corners on the units in both ranges have now been curved and rounded off creating a softer finish.
  • The Hideaway Deluxe range has seen a design change in the door bracket which previously sported struts to strengthen the unit. The struts have been removed and the door bracket curved, thus providing a more aesthetically pleasing solution with additional strength.
  • The door brackets on the Hideaway and Hideaway Deluxe twin bin models have been shortened to allow the stacking of two units  - thus providing a four bin recycling solution.
  • An investment has been made in strengthening the units further by increasing the metal gauge from 0.8mm to 1mm.
  • Gaps between the unit componentry and the plastic bins have been closed creating a neater design.

Kitchen King may be cutting corners in design, but corners are not being cut when it comes to delivering to you a quality bin solution for the home every time.......
Hideaway bins...neat thinking.
